ISO 9001:2000 Quality Assurance Standard
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation's internal Quality Management. An organisation's 'Quality Management' refers to their actions to ensure that its products or services satisfy its customers' quality requirements and comply with any regulations applicable to those products or services.
ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standards
ISO 14001 specifies a framework and the requirements for an organisation's environmental management system. It applies to those environmental aspects over which an organisation has control and where it can be expected to have an influence. This covers all areas of the printing industry from RECYCLING… Paper waste, ink, ink tins, chemicals, water, plates, pallets, pallet wrapping, office waste paper, ENERGY… Efficient use of deliveries of paper and printed items, reduction in electricity use such as turning of lights, computer screens, unused finishing equipment etc. Changing company cars to Hybrid vehicles etc.
ISO 12647-2 Colour Quality Management (Mellow Colour)
Mellow Colour analyse the colour appearance of print and tune systems so that we can maintain consistent high quality colour reproduction. Using the industry’s latest technical equipment we have the tools to measure and control colour print appearance. ISO 12647-2 is the specification upon which most serious printing specifications are based. Target gradation, ink colour, trapping, grey balance and dot gain numbers in the specification are based on hundreds of high quality print samples gathered and analysed from around the globe by the ISO TC 130 Committee.
